In lieu of individual holiday gifts for your child’s teacher, parents are asked to make a donation in the teacher’s name, which will go towards a purchase to benefit the whole school. The items are nominated by the teachers, and your donation will go towards filling those wishes, large and small.
This fund has enabled the Manoa to purchase microscopes, a projection screen for the gym, die cuts, computer peripherals, books, educational games, crafts for indoor recess, iPads, Smartboards, even umbrellas for rainy day bus duty.
We will provide a certificate listing the names, not the amount given, of each student who contributed before the holiday break. The names of the families who donated will be presented to Dr. Ramoundos and displayed in the school office with the names of the families, not the amount given, who participated in the Holiday Fund.
Manoa PTO is a non-profit organization under IRS Code section 501(c) (3) and is recognized as a Public Charity under section 509 (a) (2). Your donation may be tax deductible and/or eligible for your employer’s matching contribution program.
